Definition: Adapted good

Environment

Good that has been specifically modified to be more "environmentally friendly" or "cleaner" and whose use is therefore beneficial for environmental protection or resource management ("System of Environmental-Economic Accounting 2012 - Central Framework").

Less polluting or more resource-efficient than equivalent normal product which furnishes a similar utility. Its primary use is not one of environmental protection or resource management ("The Environmental Goods and Services Sector").
