Business registers
A social economy enterprise characterized by:
- Voluntary and open membership
- Equal voting rights – resolutions carried by majority
- Members contribute to the capital which is variable
- Autonomy and independence
- Particularly important is the sector of agriculture, manufacturing, banking, retailing and services
