Definition: Social transfers in kind

Purchasing power parities

Individual goods and services provided as transfers in kind to individual households by government units (including social security funds) and NPISHs (Non-profit institutions serving households). The goods and services can be purchased on the market or produced as non-market output by government units or NPISHs.
