Definition: SMART objectives
Common Assessment Framework (CAF); Peer reviews
Objectives state what an organisation has set out to achieve.
It is recommended that objectives should be SMART:
• Specific: precise about what you are going to achieve;
• Measurable; with quantified objectives;
• Realistic: are the necessary resources available?
• Timed: within manageable timing.
