Definition: Customs procedure

The Community Customs Code (CCC) provides for eight customs procedures  (Article 4(16) CC): 

- release for free circulation, 
- transit, 
- customs warehousing, 
- inward processing, 
- processing under customs control, 
- temporary importation, 
- outward processing, and
