Definition: Economic Accounts for Agriculture (EAA)

European System of Accounts (ESA)

The purpose of economic accounts for agriculture (EAA) is to describe agricultural production and the development of agricultural income. This information is used for analysing the economic situation of a Member State's agriculture and for monitoring and evaluating the common agricultural policy in the Union.
