Definition: Long-term securities other than shares, excluding financial derivatives

The sub-position long-term securities other than shares excluding financial derivatives consists of all transactions in long-term securities other than shares excluding financial derivatives that is securities other than shares with a long-term original maturity except financial derivatives (§ 5.60).

Securities other than shares, whose original maturity is normally more than one year, and in exceptional cases more than two years at the minimum, except financial derivatives (Annex 7.1: Definition of each asset category).
